Year One Movie! Cult Classic for Michael Cera Fans!

Have you seen Year One yet??? This is a must see for Michael Cera fans that officially opened on Friday June 19th nationwide with selected premiers Monday the 15th in New York, Chicago, and LA. Michael Cera and Jack Black walked the red carpet in New York on Monday after premiering on MTV’s new “It’s On With Alexa Chung”. Opening weekend box office estimates are $20.2 million with an audience base that is very familiar and admiring of Michael Cera’s comedic styles. This is definitely the Superbad crowd!
Year One Movie - Michael Cera plays the character "Oh"!
The combination of Jack Black’s constant character with Michael Cera’s quick one liner unassuming punch lines is a great recipe for jaw-dropping “omg” laughter we have come to enjoy. This is a gentle push away from the usual characters Michael has played in the past but still has enough familiarity to hold onto fans who loved his roles in Superbad, Juno, and Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist.
Also familiar in this movie playing the character “Isaac” is Christopher Mintz-Plasse who has an interesting destiny with circumcision but I won’t ruin it for you….. OUCH!!! There are lots of interesting surprises in this movie and it moves along quickly with a slight Biblical parody, but don’t be offended…. It certainly wasn’t “over the top” for this Christian, just funny! Go watch it and enjoy.

This Movie is hilarious. Love it. Bought it right when it came out on dvd.

The cast of this movie was awesome. You (of course), MCLOVIN!!!, Bill Hader <3, Jack Black, Hank Azaria, Paul Rudd <3, and David Cross
So funny. It's cool (I think) to see the same people in a movie as in a different movie that you just watched. We had watched Role Models, Pineapple Express and NNIP the days before we saw this

I have to see this movie!! Michael Cera is my favorite actor times infinity! after I saw Juno and NNIP… I love his acting!! I must see this movie!

Saw year one the other day. Absolutely loved it. I laughed through the entire thing. Definitely one of the funniest movies i’ve seen in a long time
